I'm Chantal from Chantal Elise Photography--a mother, nurturer, and artist.
My home is beautiful West Michigan, where I enjoy spending time with true loves--my husband and son. I started taking portraits because I delighted in the everyday flow of life; the quiet details of people, and their worlds. My goal has always been to capture truth, and build connections with those of whom I took photos of in a personal and organic way.

To this day I still feel the same way about what is between my eye and the glass; a desire to freeze an honest moment in time that encapsulates who YOU are--YOU, the person on the other side of this screen, the one who I'd like to get to know. I want to meet you, and your loved ones. I'd like to photograph your essence in a way that honors your life--something you can cherish forever.
